New Sanko HT-4050 Concrete Anchor Setting Tool Setting tool for Sanko Drop In Anchor CT-4050 and CT-1250 Length: 6-5/16" Diameter Large End: 5/8" Diameter Small End: 3/8" Anchor setting tools are designed to be hammered into the center of the drop-in anchors such as the CT or GT types. There are different sized setting tools to match up with the various sized anchors. The setting tools are designed to so that when the shoulder of the setting tool is flush with the top of the anchor, the anchor is set properly. Setting tools are made of hardened steel designed not to bend or break and last for many installations. To set a Sanko CT anchor follow these simple steps. Drill a hole to the depth required for the anchor you are setting. Clean the concrete dust out of the hole with blown air. Put the drop-in anchor into the hole. Place the small end of the setting tool into the center of the anchor. Hammer the top of the setting tool to drive it down into the anchor, pushing the internal plug downward. Once the shoulder of the setting tool matches up with the top of the anchor then the internal plug is as far down as it will go and the anchor is set properly.
