SCRUTE’S patented wedging effect (U.S. Patent 5,727,279) converts the weight of heavy concrete into working energy to produce a smooth even grade with every stroke. No more wasting precious time and labor, with 2 or 3 men rough grading concrete with a rake or shovel, only to re-grade again for the second time by bending, squatting and screeding, while the cement truck is sitting idle waiting to pour more concrete. Now you can eliminate this repetitive, labor-intensive, and time-consuming process with just one man and one tool. With SCRUTE, one man can easily place, strike off and screed all the concrete by himself, straight from the truck to a flat finish grade in record time (3 minutes per cubic yard), and seal it off immediately!
