The First Voice FV845 Camp Responder First Aid Trauma Kit is a first responder kit with a nylon bag that contains prepackaged first aid supplies and the First Aid Field Guide. The First Aid Field Guide provides information on emergency protocols for over 30 emergencies, best practices for scene safety and clean-up, best practices for personal safety, and information on Good Samaritan laws and liability. The information in the First Aid Field Guide is written to comply with American Heart Association, Red Cross, and Coast Guard guidelines that are current at the time of publication. The bag in this first responder kit is made of nylon for durability and water resistance. This first responder kit includes a blood-borne pathogen clean-up kit, and the First Voice AmpuSave medical transport device for the storage and transportation of severed digits or soft tissue. This first responder kit includes 10 beaded nylon cable security seals for resistance to tampering. In addition to the First Aid Field Guide, the printed materials in this kit include a general intake pad, a cardiac intake pad, a stroke intake pad, and an inventory refill checklist with expiration dates. This first responder kit is refillable (refill items sold separately) and has been assembled to comply with American National Standard Institute (ANSI) Z308.1 minimum requirements for workplace first aid kits and supplies. First responder kits contain supplies to help provide basic medical treatment to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available. First responder kits are typically made up of one or more enclosed containers and a variety of first aid supplies. First responder containers come in many forms including bags, duffel bags, backpacks, soft cases, semi-rigid cases, and rigid boxes. The containers are used to hold and to help organize the first aid supplies. First aid supplies may include bandages, antiseptics, ice packs, personal protective equipment, and handbooks, among others. First responder kits are commonly used by public safety personnel such as firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians, and at construction sites, industrial plants, and workplaces, or in remote areas where emergency services may not be immediately available. Think Safe manufactures and distributes emergency first aid products, including First Voice Emergency Instruction Devices (EIDs) and Self-contained Emergency Treatment (SET) systems.
