This is a NOS New-Old-Stock Shimpo digital programmable panel-mount tachometer/counter.  It accepts a wide variety of input sources, and can be programmed for a user-scaled output display. This microprocessor-controller digital tachometer can be used in any direct rpm application where no special gears or generators are required. This was kept in a controlled-environment stockhouse prior to sale. Specs: Mounts easily — no brackets or screws required. 85 - 264 VAC supply (50/60 Hz) Parameters are easily set via front panel membrane switches and are stored in non-volatile memory. Pulses per revolution (rate) range is 1 - 9999. Decimal point is programmable. Signal LED on front panel. 1/8 DIN NEMA 4X enclosure. 12 VDC 50mA max sensor supply. Switch closure input: For relays or  reed switches. Open collector sensor direct input: No need for an external pull-up resistor. Input for: rotary encoders or pulse generators. Standard input: magnetic pick-ups, and proximity switches. Self-test and diagnostic mode. This is new, old stock from a controlled-environment parts stockhouse. This box was handled and opened, and shuffled around in a drawer for years. It is bent and scuffed. However the module and accessories inside were in styrofoam, so they are in perfect condition otherwise.
