Test Report of Acoustic Transmission Characteristics for Stethoscopes These tests were done by an independent testing lab ot compare the sound with the very best available. MITCO 300 AND 200 Test date: Jan.11~12, 2011 Objective: To test the brand-new stethoscopes developed for MIT CO. INC. on the point of Frequency Response, Acoustic Sensitivity and Anti-noise, verify whether the performance satisfy the requirement specified in the standard of YY/T 91035-1999; meanwhile, test on the 2pcs 3M’s stethoscopes in the same condition to proceed a comparison on Performance. II. Test Set Up: All the tests were proceeded by a special acoustic transmission tester. III. Test Method: All the stethoscopes were designed and manufactured according to the requirement of YY91035-1999, and all the tests were carried out according to the standard of YY/T 91077-1999. IV. Samples used for this Test: Samples used for test: 1). 2 models of MITCO 300 & 301. 2). 2 samples of 3M: Sample A, Sample B MITCO 300 & 301 • 20pcs total samples of each model were submitted for the tests. • Samples of each model were coded as No.1, No.2,… NUMBER OF TEST PRODUCTS 20. • All the samples were functional inspected to make sure having been good manufactured. • All the samples of each model anticipated all the tests listed above. V. Test Procedure: A. Anti-noise Test • Establish the equipment and calibrate the tester; • Connect the sample with the tester; • Operate the computer to download the test data; B. Acoustic Sensitivity Test • Establish the equipments and calibrate the tester; • Connect one eartips of the sample with the tester; • Operate the computer to download the test data; • Test the other eartip of the sample in the same method as the above mentioned; • Test all the samples one by one and consolidate all the data into the data sheet.
