The multipurpose Triplett Sniff-It 2 AC voltage detector makes it easy to test for AC voltage on lightbulb sockets, outlets, extension cords, and more. It can even detect and trace the path of wires inside your walls and identify the hot side of your AC receptacles. It does all this without making actual contact with the electricity, so you don't have to worry about shocks. The detector uses lights and sounds to signal the presence of AC voltage.
