The BaseSTATION uses an existing HD LED/LCD monitor for both audio and video display over a simple HDMI connection. The BaseSTATION system can be used for a variety of applications such as local presentations, PC-based UC applications like Skype or WebEx, VoIP audio conferencing, and voice add-on. The unit is comprised of a table-based MicDock and a wall-mounted Camera Module. The MicDock contains the microphones, user interface, and docking connectors for the PC and video conferencing applications. With four cardioid microphone elements and their respective independent wideband AECs (acoustic echo cancelers), these microphones provide a 360° pickup pattern. The Vaddio SmartMic technology maintains echo-free audio for both local and far-end participants with hands-free operation.
