This is a very gently pre-owned but unused, NEW in the box with all accessory items, mobile real-time spoken language translation system from VoxTec. This is the PHRASELATOR P2 Mobile Translation System in the ruggedized Military and Police configuration. This unit has the Version 2.6 configuration with SEVEN language modules. Includes ENGLISH, ARABIC, DARI, IRAQI, KURMANJI, PASHTO, and URDU language software. NOTE: That additional language packages are available from VoxTec. The VoxTec PHRASELATOR P2 is a full function color handheld computer running Windows CE based software. The manufacturer says “the PHRASELATOR P2 puts a world of phrase translation capabilities at your command. The mobile, ruggedly designed Voxtec PHRASELATOR P2 is the most powerful one-way, handheld, speech-to-speech translation system available. Originally developed for use by the U.S. Military, the P2 has aided the tactical and humanitarian needs of thousands of service personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan and Southeast Asia. Based on its success in these challenging environments, the P2 has also been called upon to meet the critical communication needs of law enforcement and corrections officers, emergency medical technicians, construction superintendents and many others”. The compact unit is easy to use and at only 7” by 3.5” by 2” with a ruggedized case and weather-proof design it is easy to carry and maintain. For convenience it can operate off of the included rechargeable battery, directly off of the power adapter charger, standard or rechargeable AA batteries (not included), or the optional vehicle power adapter charger (not included). This system includes the PHRASELATOR P2 unit, rechargeable battery, power adapter charger with global outlet adapters, USB cable, DVD based training program, SD card, User’s Manual with Military Police and Security page inserts, and BLACKHAWK Tactical carrying case. This item was obtained in a government military contractor property disposal sale and is an unused back-up system. This item is in perfect new and unused condition in the original box with all accessories. It was originally purchased in support of operations in Middle East, opened, inspected, configured and placed back in storage and then never used. It was turned on from time to time for inventory and quality control purposes. This is as new as you can get without the box being sealed.
