ZnSe Beam Combiner Optic This is a beam combiner made of ZnSe and used for combining a red aiming laser with an Er:YAG beam (2.94um). It can probably also be used for CO2 lasers, since ZnSe is transparent to 10.6um as well. The beam combiner is 1" in diameter and 0.12" thick. It is used by placing it at 45 degrees to both beams - it transmits the IR laser and reflects the red aiming laser, so they are both parallel to each other. This is Brand New high quality optic, originally manufactured for Sharplan (now Lumenis) medical lasers, and is available here for a fraction of its original cost.
