Newport 423/433 Series Melles Griot XYZ Positioner Stage ** Very Good This auction is for a Newport / Melles Griot XYZ Positioner Stage as pictured, in very good condition. Former university property, part of a large lot of laser related items I recently acquired. Has a Newport NRC B-2 Base Plate on top, mounted to a Newport 423 Series Linear Platform, with SM-25 Micrometer. Below that is a Newport 433 Series Linear Stage, with 100 TPI AJS100-2 Precision Adjustment Screw. On the bottom is a Melles Griot platform for vertical movement, with Micrometer having an effective travel range of 10mm up or down. Fully functional & working fine, all surfaces move smoothly & correctly. Micrometers could probably benefit from some lubrication, but are definitely usable as they are right now. I pack things right, wrapped & well protected, check my feedback and you'll see that mentioned often. Most items go FedEx Ground, online trackable, insured to full purchase price. For the extremely rare occasion (maybe once in the last 10 years) that damage occurs during shipping, it will be the responsibility of buyer to initiate and pursue a claim with the shipping company, normally Fedex. Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then you can be assured it will ship that way. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with known issues, without mentioning them in the listing, but I buy lots of equipment and sometimes acquire pieces that I either don't have the expertise to test, or don't have other equipment on hand required to perform testing, so occasionally have no choice but to sell those items "as is". Auctions are always "what you see & read is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as interface cables, power cords, software, etc., it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions by email, just please ask before, not after bidding. If upon delivery a problem is found that contradicts any statement made on auction and buyer decides to bypass a damage claim with the shipping company and instead return merchandise directly to me, then they will be responsible for return shipping cost along with a restock fee equal to 20% of bid amount, neither of which is refundable. I will then inspect and test merchandise and issue a refund if complaint is justified & serial numbers match. Items to be returned directly to me will only be accepted if I'm notified of such by email within 24 hours of delivery.
