The housing includes a F/0.85 Borofloat condenser for a 1.3 inch (33 mm) diameter collimated output beam at the 1.5 Inch Series output flange. A rear reflector has been integrated into the housing to collect the lamp's back radiation. Complete with external lamp and reflector adjustment knobs, the lamp position can be finely tuned to align the filament for best optical throughput. A power regulated fan has also been designed into the housing to cool the lamp during operation and prevent overheating. Model 70050 Included with this housing is Interconnection Cable 70050 to ensure proper electrical connection to the appropriate Oriel Power Supply.
