NewScope-8 is an LCD retrofit kit designed to replace the CRT subsystem in the HP 85662A IF/Display unit used in the following HP test equipment: 8566A, 8566B Spectrum Analyzer 8568A, 8568B Spectrum Analyzer 8567A Spectrum Analyzer The Key Features Include: Supports 5.7 inch VGA LCD panel with 640x480 resolution Bitmap font with hand-optimized glyph gives better clarity over the original vector font when rendered on a VGA LCD panel Enlarged markers in distinct shape and colors Resolution enhancement takes advantage of the 1024 point original resolution of the 85662A display and gives a smooth curve with reduced jaggedness Four display schemes selectable by the align pot Sweeps of 10ms down to 1us are now digitized and stored in trace A memory, which can be captured via GPIB. The X axis is timed with a crystal oscillator that requires no adjustment Compatible with existing GPIB automation software The LCD back light is powered from the unregulated +23V supply (or regulated +18V in later 85662A units) that was used for the CRT high voltage module The 85662A analyzer display in the pictures are for demo purposes and are not include in the sale. Dotted graticule lines are not supported with the 5.7" LCD panel.
