The NewScope-8 LCD retrofit kit is designed to replace the CRT in the HP 85662A Display used in HP 8566/8567/8568 spectrum analyzers. The key features of the Kit include: Supports VGA (640x480) resolution Bitmap font with hand-optimized glyphs gives better clarity over the original vector font when rendered on a raster LCD panel Enlarged markers with distinct shapes and color Display items are differentiated by colors, similar to later models of the same test equipment family Four display schemes selectable by the Align adjustment The LCD back light is powered from the power rail dedicated for the CRT high voltage module in the system Fast Sweep is digitized and can be captured via GPIB Kit includes an industrial-grade 5.7" VGA LCD panel, all hardware and cables needed for installation The Align control is used by the NewScope-8 display to switch between display schemes. There are four preset display schemes. Different schemes can have color or monochrome display, vector or bitmap fonts. See pictures for details (Note: dotted graticule lines are not available on the 5.7" LCD screen). Installation should be performed by a qualified technical person who is familiar with the analyzer. The Kit installation time is approximately 2.5 hours. Step-by-step installation instructions are provided. This kit is compatible with 8566/8567/8568 Spectrum Analyzers.  The HP 85662A display in the picture are for demo purpose and are not included in the sale.
