This auction is for a Newton BA-600 2-spindle pneumatic horizontal boring machine with five sets [2-bits per set] of drill bits and an individual bit. This machine operates very well. It is still in use. This machine is power by a 1.5-horsepower, 208-volt 3-phase motor. There is an appropriate plug. All the pneumatic connections are present and the pressure indicators all work. The approximate outside dimensions of the machine are 48-inches by 48-inches by 55-inches. It weighs approximately 450-pounds; all good old USA cast iron. The metal work table that is an original part of the machine is approximately 18-inches by 12-inches. The shop-built wood work table attached to the metal work table is 41-inches by 12-1/2-inches. The drill bits are all right hand. The sizes are 3/8, 25/64, 1 /2, 33/64 [there are three of these, one still wrapped in wax], and 3 /4 [both these are still wrapped in wax]. The individual bit is 5/16. The bits all appear to be carbide and all are sharp. Three sets are from Forrest; one set and the individual bit are from Morris Wood Tools [33/64]; and the 3 /4-inch bits are from Onsrud. The machine's operations are all controlled by the foot pedal. The work piece to be drilled is placed on the work table, then press the foot pedal and the pneumatic clamps lock onto the work piece, then the work table moves the work piece into the drill bits. The table withdraws after drilling and the clamps automatically release when the table move to its original position. Pick-up only. If you have a third-party that is going to pick this up for you we will work with everyone to make it easy. Payment: A $250 deposit via PayPal, with the balance by either a bank check [not certified check] on pick-up or wire transfer prior to pick-up. I will give you the name and telephone number of the bank representative so your bank representative can call them and set everything up. It is way easier, and safer, for both of us that way. The machine has to be completely paid for before pick-up. I like an informed buyer, please ask questions.
