National Instruments (NI) PCIe-8361 kit, MXI-Express interface board for PCI Express, including 3 meter MXI-Express cable, and driver media, with optional low profile board mounting bracket for use in small form factor computer chassis (standard height bracket OEM installed as shown). The board has assembly # 199042B-01L (RoHS compliant), same board shown, with original NI ESD padded shield bag with matching labeling. The board was tested by installing into Windows 7 PC, and ensuring error free communications, control and monitoring of modules within a PXI-1042 chassis using an MXI-Express cable and a PXI-8360. This listing is for the PCIe-8361 card, cable and software with bracket, same as shown in photos. From NI- With the NI PXI-PCIe836x kit, you can control PXI and CompactPCI systems from your PCI Express-equipped desktop or server PC through a fully transparent, high-bandwidth cabled MXI-Express link. The MXI-Express link consists of a PCI Express board in the PC, connected via a MXI-Express cable to a PXI module in slot 1 of a PXI chassis. The NI PXI-PCIe8361 kit includes a PCI Express board with one x1 ("by one") PCI Express link that provides up to 110 MB/s of sustained throughput when cabled to a PXI chassis. The NI PXI-8360 module implements a PCI Express-to-PCI bridge. With MXI-Express, you can use PXI modules as if they are PCI boards directly installed in your PC. 7 m maximum cable length, with rugged screw-in connectors Sustained throughput - 110 MB/s Direct PC control of PXI/CompactPCI Software-compatible with PCI-based PXI controllers, such as MXI-3 and MXI-4 Software-transparent MXI-Express link that requires no programming The PCIe-8361 kit will be sent well packaged in box by USPS Priority Mail, insured, signature required.
