Specifications: This NI-ROD 55 1/8" flux coated CAST IRON arc rod welding electrode pack consisting of 8 pieces is perfect for repairing broken or building up worn castings, correcting machining errors on castings, and welding steel to cast iron. Recommended for all positions, the welds are strong, nonporous, and machinable. Multiple pass welds are free from cracks, and preheating is always recommended. Ideal for engine blocks, cracked manifolds, windmill pumps, antique picture pumps, modern water well pumps, antique farm spoke wheel spindles, and manure spreaders having lots of cast iron. Whether you're a farmer, construction contractor, or machinist, this pack is perfect for you. Condition: New unused Material: Cast Iron Diameter: 1/8" If you choose to purchase from Canada and overseas, cost override is more to cover tariff postal paperwork spent at the post office.
