NIB Vintage Craftsman Atlas 12" 10" Milling Attachment No. 2987 click picture to enlarge Description The original box is a little beat up, but the milling attachment is definitely new-old-stock....never used. The instruction sheet reads "No. 2987 Milling Attachment For All Craftsman 12" Lathes with Swival Tool Post Slides - July 1975". Yes, they spelled the word swivel wrong on the sheet. The sheet goes on to say ...this unit is "For 12" Metal Working Lathes". The instruction sheet is folded up many times and a little bit soiled from bouncing around in the box. Now....don't get all excited because the feed wheel is mounted upside down. It came that way so it would be protected and fit into the box properly. It will be up to you to reverse the wheel. Even the wood block to hold in the plunger pins is still in place in the bottom (not photographed). Molded into the side is the number: 10-501. The paint is so perfect..... you're going to love it. The Instructions and Repair Parts are printed on a heavy single page. I have a similar milling attachment that I use and decided this one is to pretty to ever set up on my lathe. It weighs in at nearly 16-pounds...unpackaged. It measures approximately 12" tall. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS ABOVE AND BELOW THIS DESCRIPTION... CONDITION: This milling attachment is unused.
