In RS-485 mode, our auto enable feature enables the RS-485 line driver during character transmission and disables it afterward allowing the standard COM: driver to be utilized. The onboard interrupt status port provides maximum Windows flexibility. The OMG-ULTRACOMM422-PCI includes the 16550 UART, providing a 16 byte FIFO to keep your datacom applications running error free. Windows 3.1x drivers are available for more than 4 COM: ports. Windows 95 automatically configures the OMG-ULTRACOMM422-PCI, therefore drivers are not required. Drivers are provided for Windows NT. The Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98 and NT are included, which provide IRQ sharing, advanced UART support, and Windows serial diagnostics.
