Snap on has once again went back to the bottom and designed a new gun, charger and battery. Now this impact has been on the market for almost 2 years with no problems! These battery packs have been out for years and also fit the 7850 models. A single battery cost $165.00 if purchased at list price with taxes.The batteries have a charge indicator on them. If you want to know how much power you have left you simply push a button on the battery to see the charge level. Lithium batteries do not self drain when not in use like other batteries. They are also lighter, have more run time and charge faster than conventional batteries. This impact has a super bright LED light built in the nose for dark spaces. It only comes on when you squeeze the trigger. The CT8810 is rated at 230 ft. lbs. of torque output. Rare earth magnetic motor and a built in brake.
