You can use it on timed (1 to 60 min.) or continuous mode, and it has a metal locking tab to prevent increased or decreased speed if the knob is bumped. It can function in incubators, warm rooms, environmental chambers, and refrigerators, with temperature ranges between 4В°C to 40В°C and humidity conditions of 20 to 80% noncondensing. It is an affordable shaker that can enhance the capacity for wide applications with its added reciprocating function, analog operating system, and different platforms. You get variable speed control, built-in timer, and control lever to change the motion of the shaker easily. The shaker requires either a universal platform (without clamps) or a dedicated platform (with pre-installed clamps) to operate. The shaker operates with back-and-forth and circular motion, making it ideal for shaking separatory funnels, growing bacteria and yeast. Thermo Scientific MaxQ 2508 Orbital Shaker with Timer SHKA2508 is perfect for various scientific experiments like growing bacteria, dissolution studies, staining of electrophoresis gels, and others.
