Made in the U.S.A. by Work-Rite This is a wood welder with two hand units in good condition. This unit was removed from service in good working order, but the hand units are missing 3 of 4 of the metal pads that contact the wood surface (see photos 7 and 8 above). Contact Work-Rite for replacements. The case of this unit has some glue on it as shown in the photos. Model Number: 4000 Serial Number: 4C178 This machine sets water base glues in seconds. Bonds wood, plastic, and all non-metallic parts in 5-8 seconds. Clamp up your project, spot weld between clamps then release clamps. Welded area is equal to a 30 minute set. Model 4000 is the heavy duty production model for use where the machine will be in service all day. Specifications: 115 V / 60 Hz. / 1 Phase Includes coaxial cable between main unit and handheld unit Includes two standard hand units as shown Penetrates up to 2-1/2" of wood Comes as shown in pictures. Shipping: The following options are available to get this item to you: Option 1: This item is available for local pickup in the Carpinteria, California area (bring your own fork lift or pallet jack and lift gate, or this item can be loaded in a pickup by multiple people - we can assist). Option 2: This item can ship via freight. It will be the buyer's responsibility to set-up and pay for the freight service of your choosing. We will prep this item for freight shipping and have it ready to load when the truck arrives for no additional charge. A lift gate and pallet jack will be required to load this item. We can also load this item with a fork lift for a charge of $250 (we have to rent a fork lift...we make no money on this service).
