We sell both Weldcote Metals & Harris Filler Metals AWS Classification: ENiFe-C1 Electrode: 55% - 59% Nickel with 40% - 45% Iron (Nickel 55 / Nickle 59). 1-lbs Package of 1/8" (3.2mm) diameter, 14" (350mm) length. Designed for all-position joining and surfacing of cast iron, malleable iron and ductile iron to itself or dissimilar metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, wrought iron alloys or high nickel alloys. Produces weld deposits with lower weld shrinkage stress which in turn reduces the possibility of weld or heat-affected zone cracking. Nickel55 can produce high strength, ductile weld deposits even when welding low grade cast iron containing excessive levels of phosphorus or other contaminants.
