The Nicot Rearing System is a complete kit for every stage of queen breeding.  The Nicot Comb Box (147mm x 130mm x 28mm) is fitted underneath a frame top-bar with 2 screws. In the comb box comes the breeding queen who lays in the supplied cell cups. It is recommend that before the introduction of the laying queen, the frame with the comb box in between wax foundation, is sprayed with sugar water or diluted honey and placed in the brood chamber for 3 days. When the queen is now introduced she will immediately continue laying in the cell cups. On the 4th day the queen is released and the larvae in the cells cups, surrounded by the white Royal Jelly are removed and fixed into the cell cup holders that are then mounted onto the breeding frame cell bar and put into the cell building colony. When the queen cells have been sealed then the roller cages can be added, these protect the newly emerged queen from other virgin queens. These cages come supplied with plugs that allow them to be used for transport and introduction into new colonies.
