Binocular Inverted Microscope Base with working Stage Will take Nikon 35mm Camera on front bayonett and Film camera from left side - the controls for the internal optics to switch between the two are on the right side. This unit has the condensor harness in working order. (But no condensor) it swings into place and out of the way. The light housing diaphram is working. Note: There are some small screws taped the housing arm. The course and fine focus knobs turn but require some TLC ..... there are other adjusting knobs and they work as well.   This unit has a heavy stable base. The objective turret is missing and other options are not included.  However, this is actually a great place to start if you wish to pursue a project of this magnitude. Details from this listing: Internal Optics & glides seem to be working fine. Has binocular head with original Eye Pieces, objectives and turret assembly are missing. Light housing is missing the bulb harness and wiring. The light housing holder is heat damaged and the light housing does not attach to it anymore.  The base electronics are working (See Pictures) the switch and light power adjudtment work.  The Slide Stage "control-wand" works nicely in both directions.  This could be the primary starting piece for a working Nikon Diaphot project microscope. There may be other issues with this unit but further testing was done. The internal areas and external detail cleaning was not done. This unit was legally aquired via a government auction. Its original owner was the University of Idaho the stickers are still in place. The base has "Lab 214" scratched-out near the voltage meter.
