Data transfer to a personal computer or any data collectors is possible with the RS-232C interface, and also memory on board can store up to 8000 points, which will save you the purchase of data collectors. Unit features a card reader on the side for data recording on-board. 256KB internal memory can store up to 5000 points and transfer to PCMCIA or computer. On the same side where memory card is installed there is another card reader for AP-700 program card. AP-700 software include: Job manager, Station setup, Collection, Stakeout, Control, Traverse Adj., Communications, System, COGO (Inverse, Intersections, Parallel line, Area & Perim, Manual input. On board functions include: Switches of LCD, Reticle, Lumi-Guide, Heater, sound, contrast View/Edit of stored data, Notes, Settings, Status, Check level, MAP (2x Zoom). With Lumi-guide on top of the objective operator can facilitate alignment of the prism reflector or rod with the optical axis of the telescope/EDM. There are dual reading display on both side for more convenient read outs on field. Unit has a detachable tribrach for convenience of moving it to different set up locations.
