For sale is a NIKON TRINOCULAR MICROSCOPE HEAD, Model T, with INFRARED capability. The unit is equipped with INFRARED filters and has a module that can accept a third eyepiece.[25.5mm or by using a spacer to the regular 23mm.] It has a standard Nikon 49mm dovetail and so it fits the Nikon Alphaphot,Labophot,Labophot2,Optiphot and the Nikon S-series of microscopes and of course many others. The two eyepieces (made in Germany) are equipped with high quality INFRARED FILTERS. While looking through the eyepieces,one sees a bright cherry-like background. The lenses have a purple coating. The head's sliding prism offers two transparency options: 100% and 50%. Besides being fit for IR observations,this kit is also good for regular BRIGHTFIELD AND DARKFIELD. [WITH THE INFRARED FILTERS REMOVED.They are easily removable.]Please,take a look at the pictures. I will answer questions to the best of my knowledge. It is quite reasonable to assume that will work well in the immediate UV spectrum.[Again,with the IR filters removed.] NOTE: I AM SHIPPING FROM CANADA.
