Our extension arms are made with a heavy-duty, weather resistant epoxiglass. Our 1/4"-thick wall, along with a rigid foam core, make our hot arms much more durable than the Chance H480072. Our suspension clamp (yellow) and our end cap (white) are both made of HDPE, which is stronger than the bronze / aluminum used by our competitors, and is softer, so it won't mark up / fracture fiberglass when it comes into contact with it. Anyone that's had a bunch of arms rolling around in the back of the truck knows how much damage they can do to one another, and this helps quite a bit. Our wireholder forks have an extra 3/16" opening, to allow for slightly larger wire, as our arms are rated for 50lbs more per wireholder than the Chance or Hastings models.  If you'd like insulators, we have a separate listing.
