It has two 1-1/2" lockout hasps with the capacity for six padlocks each (additional padlocks sold separately), providing the ability to require multiple authorizations for access to one locked-out device or energy source. It comes with two laminated steel padlocks to help prevent unauthorized access to potential hazards, and 20 vinyl lockout tags with a red, white, and black "Danger" logo on both sides to help identify lockout targets. The assortment comes in a 17" wide lockable polypropylene carrying case that is resistant to many chemicals. This kit is part of a lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedure required at facilities where multiple devices and energy sources need to be isolated during maintenance and repair.
