This Brush Shirt is made of 6 oz. Yellow Aramid/Nomex. Include 2 breast pockets with Velcro flaps, large buttons for easy handling with gloves, and Velcro adjusters on the sleeves. They are sewn with Nomex thread and are bar tacked at all stress points. NFPA 1977 UL certified.  Brush Shirts are NFPA Approved and UL Listed and meet ISO 1977-2011 standards. Aramid/Nomex fibers are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers. They are used in aerospace and military applications, for ballistic-rated body armor fabric and ballistic composites, in bicycle tires, and as an asbestos substitute. The name is a portmanteau of "aromatic polyamide"
