Sottof Sales Northfield No. 4 Table Saw, runs smooth needs a 25 cent roll pin replaced (included) in order for the motor elevevation screw to raise and lower the blade, (see photo of parts list and pin for details) the blade tilts smoothly, motor runs good. Comes with one mitre gauge and rack and pinion fence. The cover for the magnetic motor starter is missing. This a ex school machine and has been in storage for a few years. The more is 5 HP, 3 Phase currently wired 230V, the arbor size is 1 1/8" and three HSS blades are included, two 16" and one 14" nothing else is included. Northfield is still in business and parts are available for this saw, a new Northfield No. 4 Standard cost over $15,000.00 The roll pin that is broken holds the motor elevation screw gear on it's shaft it can possibly be replaced with out taking the saw apart if you have small flexible hands (see photo of gear/shaft) If you are not familiar with model of saw please go the the Northfield Woodworking site or vintagemachinery.org has a manual for it as well. Some specifications are shown in one of the photos. This saw can be seen under power and forklift is on site to load suitable vehicle.
