The first head features a grooved, rubber-covered contact drum and a 50 HP, 220/440v, 3ph sanding motor. The second head also has a grooved, rubber-covered contact drum and a 40 HP, 220/440v, 3ph sanding motor. The third head is a finishing platen with a 30 HP, 220/440v, 3ph sanding motor. The Northtech Model NT-1300RRC-LTD is a powerful and reliable Three-Head Wide Belt Sander. With a working width of 53" and a maximum workpiece thickness of 6", this sander is capable of handling some of the toughest sanding jobs. The sanding belt size is 53" x 88" and the machine comes equipped with three sanding heads. Other features of this impressive machine include an outfeed panel cleaning brush and a 7.5 HP variable speed feed motor (with a feed speed of 5-20 m/min). The machine also has electronic belt tracking and roller & shoe hold-downs for added precision during the sanding process. Additionally, amp-meters are included for the sanding motors. The Northtech Model NT-1300RRC-LTD is a high-quality sander that is sure to meet the sanding needs of any woodshop.
