Large lot of cut-off wheels and cut-off wheel supports for use on a conventional surface grinder.  This lot contains the following:   Cut-off Wheels: (six total, all Norton, and all with 1.25" center mounting hole) There are two Norton reinforced cut-off wheels, .060 thick x 6.6" OD, wheel spec is A60-OBNA2.   There are three new, non-reinforced Norton cut-off wheels (also known as rubber wheels), .020" thick x 6.0" OD,  Norton spec 57A90-ROR30.   There is one non-reinforced Norton wheel, same spec as previous, but condition is used and OD measures 5.3".  Finally, there is a used diamond cut-off wheel, Norton spec ASD100S-R100B90, wheel is 6.0" OD x 1mm thick. This wheel works, but is a bit "tired".  Wheel supports: (three sets of wheel supports, all with 1.25" center mounting hole). There is one set of shop made wheel supports, 1.25" center mounting hole, 4.7" OD x 0.275" thick, made from 440-C stainless steel, hardened and ground. Excellent support when using new, or larger cut-off wheels.   There is one set of shop made wheel supports, 1.25" center mounting hole, 3.7" OD x 0.25" thick, made from 440-C stainless steel, hardened and ground. Excellent support when using used, and slightly smaller cut-off wheels. Then there is a special set of wheel supports. Custom made by a manufacturer of extremely thin diamond slitting saws. This set is alum, and measures 5.75" OD x about 0.350" thick. This was designed to support a diamond slitting saw with a 4.5" ID. To use with cut-off wheels with a 1.25" center mounting hole, you'll need to mount this in a lathe and remove the raised center section, (its the area marked "back flange")  down below the face of the outer ring. Cut-off wheels work best, and can cut very accurately, when supported correctly. Especially when using the non-reinforced wheels, supports are a must. This is an excellent set of supports for use in the toolroom. Supports should also be used with diamond cut-off wheels to extend their life and improve productivity.    A word of caution regarding the rubber cut-off wheels. I really liked these wheels, they cut without creating a lot of heat and can cut very accurately when supported correctly.  But, they are not reinforced, so they should be used for thin sections and light duty work. No deep cuts on rough work or they will fail. Thin cut-off wheels not only cut-off, but can also produce thin slots in work.  But use these at your own risk.
Three of the non-reinforced cut-off wheels are new, the other three are used. The hardened steel supports where made in my machine shop and are in very good condition.
