This sale is for ONE NOS Butterfield made 1 NC 8 1' 8tpi 4-FLUTE TAP. This tap has an overall length of 4-1/4" and a square shank. This high quality USA made TAP is being offered at an exceptional price.The tap was protected with a wax coating on the cutting edges while the shank was not. The shank is dinged and scuffed and a little discolored from years of storage . The cutting edges are perfect as the wax coating was only removed for the pictures.
