Nos Michigan Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Oiler Motor Steam Tractor Magneto Nice!!

This is a NOS, new old stock, Michigan oiler for a hit and miss gas engine.  It is not marked Michigan but has the Michigan "487" model number on the top.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.  Both glasses are good but it may need new gaskets as they seem pretty dry.  It has a vent tube and a check ball in it so it is for lubricating the cylinder of a gas engine.  It even has the original filler plug in it.  It measures about 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 6 5/8 inches tall overall.  It has 1/2 inch pipe threads and they are in great shape. The hex flats are in great shape.  This is a pretty crisp oiler!  It came from the estate of an early collector that went around and bought unused inventories of implement dealers and hardware stores.  Nice, unmolested oilers like this are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration here's your chance.   It would also make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  You'll like it.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
