NOS XEROX 9GD 5305 Personal Copier w/ Original Box!! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION These machines are next to impossible to find. This was one if the original copy machines, with no bulky power supply, and a carry handle. The top of the machine moves back and forth, setting it apart from the other types. This machine DOES turn on, and the top moves back and forth without a hitch. It was in storage for several years in its box, and it worked when it was put in storage. When it was pulled out of its box again (05/26/21), it was used ONCE. We were able to copy a receipt, to test the machine. It turned the page black smudged, but it worked. The date on the receipt is 05/25/21. After this, it stopped copying. It will pull the page in half way, then the top will move back and forth several times, and stop. The code (L 8) will alternate back and forth on the analog display. I have looked all across the internet for a meaning to this - and I am STUMPED. Using a spare toner cartridge, I replaced the one that was spent, and it is showing the same code (this will also help to lower the weight for shipping.). The box from the toner will also be shown in the pictures. Likely it needs a tune-up/full cleaning, by a professional, or at least someone who knows what they are doing more than me. These things are VERY, very rare. Get it while it is still here!! Again, to recap, it did work, once, and now it is showing an error code. The toner inside is NEW. These are extremely rare machines.
