It measures about 48 inches by 36 inches (3X4 FEET) on the outside, but can certainly be used to hand process a 40 inch plate. It features a sloped bottom and a wash bar that sprays water out through a lot of holes for rinsing a plate. It has a steel base, with hammer finish paint and i guess the sink is fiberglas or some sort of chemical resistant plastic. It could be used for plate processing, as a darkroom sink, perhaps or for various alternative messy processes. It's BIG and pretty heavy. It is a really nice heavy duty sink. This SINK came from a WEEKLY newspaper. They are installing a CTP system, so this is excess equipment. Feel free to call 706 540 3285 1 pm to midnite eastern time if you have additional questions. Pickup in Athens, Georgia is best. We can load it with our forklift. We could deliver it within a few hundred miles for a fair rate.
