Retro Oak barrel back office desk chair in blonde light Oak finish.  The base of this chair has the five feet with rollers whereas the vintage chairs only had four feet and would flip over very easily. The five feet design is a no flip design for extra safety in rolling forward or backward and when leaning backward is far less likely to flip over. There is a minimum of wear showing to the finish and a 7 inch long split in the seat, runing from the back edge inward. The seat is 18 inches from front to back and the split is only 7 inches of that.. There is a piece of the chair that runs around the underside of the seat that support this split. The seat is one inch thick and the supporting perimeter frame is one inch thick, to make the seat look two inches thick. Just like the vintage chairs, this one is also height adjustable and the chair swivels on the base. This is a very sturdy and extra comfortable chair that is made just like the vintage chairs of yesteryear. It will last for a century or more. You will be proud to own this retro, no flip chair. Buy it now, its probably the only one on eBay, so don't let it get away from you. My price does include shipping.
