We have always bought Oatey because it seemed we got a little extra, first noticed on a large order when the shipping weight on crate label seemed too high, we broke it down, weighed it and sure enough, Bonus ! Not a lot, but every little bit helps in life, especially over the length of a career, my gosh, that adds up. So does saving money on shipping, that can be huge too, right off the bat, not mention cumulatively. In this auction, 1  (one) 1 pound roll of Oatey 95/5 Solder, about the standard 1/8". start at $21.90 and $5 shipping guaranteed by me paying the rest. You have the option to buy 10 at end bid price, I reserve the right to discount that total, 10  weighs over 10 lbs, 8 oz.  and those little plastic spools sure don't weigh much. Shipping will still be only $5 regardless of how many you buy and that's For Fast, safe 3-Day Priority shipping to get this to your project as Quickly as possible.  I use this for alloying lead for casting/shooting and of course Plumbing. it's nice to show up with new product on the job even though we know.........lol I have bars or 95/5   and 97/3   from pewter at $12 (10# minimum) $14 for less than 10,  if you are going to alloy or cast pewter items.  It's a shame to have to pay the extra (for solder)  to make SURE you have a known alloy and you can trust my alloys as I am the ONLY one allowed (by me) to get near the melt/pour. I know the companies formula's so I can know the end alloy. I've been alloying and casting for over 40 years. Beware re-wraped straight lead solder on "alloy spools" . It's not smart or tricky of someone, it's downright fraud to the highest degree. If you wish to buy 95/5 Bars I will setup a Private "Buy it Now" for you and send you the item #  (and include free shipping, 10#'s or more, $5 on less than ten) Thanks folks, Dan Oh, I've never had a return but please know I've Always put that option out there for folks (20 years) because I Don't sell moisture or Flood damaged items, also Never Dirty or unservicable items. Life is too short for to even own those things. Thanks folks,  Dan P.S., please no offers on these, the shipping savings alone seal the deal, also this is all I can let go of because this is probably going to get way expensive with only foreign supplies coming in the future.
