Here is some information about it from the manufacturer website. Monochrome Graphic Modules In addition to alphanumeric values on a display, some products require the use of images. If images are required, a graphic module LCD provides the desired solution. Available in Twisted Nematic (TN), Super Twisted Nematic (STN) and Film Compensated Super Twisted Nematic (FSTN), graphic modules provide a variety of display options. TN displays are very cost effective but have a lower level of multiplex ratios when compared to the other options. STN displays can be used for larger graphics and have moderate response times. FSTN options give displays an additional compensating film that creates a wider viewing angle and less color shift. All three are quality display solutions and the solution used will depend on the design requirements of the product. Ocular can provide all three options for graphic module LCD displays and will work with your team to decide which solution is best for your product needs.
