I have a few 1550 nm OE Labs diode lasers. The following description, shamelessly cribbed from elsewhere on the Internets, offers more details: "The LDLS Series FP-LD Laser Sources utilize an internally-pigtailed laser diode that is connected to the front panel FC bulkhead via a single mode fiber. By providing a fiber-to-fiber connection at the output, these devices typically deliver more useful optical power than systems that use a receptacle with embedded optics. To reduce the back reflection to the LD and increase the laser stability, an high quality optical isolator is integrated between the LD and output terminal." Key Features Single mode fibers matched to laser wavelength 1550nm FP-LD, 1450nm FP-LD is also available Selectable Power Output up to around 1.0 mW Line width <0.5nm Stability 0.05 dB Built-in Isolator 3 1/2 Digit Bright LCD Display LED Power Indicator Mine seem to go up to 1.5 mW, though I don't know how stable the output is at this power level.  Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.
