Blanket Gauge - by Support Products Item is in excellent condition and includes the following. - Blanket Gauge (Dial Indicator made by Starrett) - Heavy Duty Poly Case (foam lined) includes spare pins, allen wrench, zeroing bar, spare battery, instruction sheet Improve press productivity and quality with the Support Products' Blanket Gauge. This gauge is the fastest and most accurate method available to measure blanket-plus-packing thickness on press. Our blanket gauge is ideal for sheetfed and web offset presses. The return on investment with the blanket gauge takes no time at all, as it greatly reduced loss press time due to blanket problems. Also, there is not training time required to master this precision tool, virtually anyone can operated the blanket gauge and receive an accurate result! The blanket gauge has two steel needles mounted in the gauge, which are pressed through the blanket and packing. When the needle points contact the steel surface of the blanket cylinder, an electrical circuit is completed, which is indicated by the illuminated red light next to the dial. The dial indicator rests on the blanket surface and reads a total thickness of blanket-plus-packing.
