This is a new, in the original factory packaging, rotary power tap switch.  It is new, old stock, in perfect condition.  The carton is in rough shape from being in a stockhouse for many years.  It has been handled many times.  It was opened for inspection, testing, and pictures.  This is basically a very heavy duty single pole 8 position switch.  These are used for commercial/industrial transformer and power taps.  A few typical applications are battery charging systems, and arc welders such as Lincoln.
