for auction is a vintage Delta Rockwell floor standing drill press. It is a recent estate find. It is fresh to the market and un touched and un cleaned. The serial  number is 112- 2850. The serial number dates it to 1954. It runs fine. The electrical cord is original and in good shape. the on off switch is working fine. The previous owner applied a great working ring pull switch. ( see pictures 4 ,7,8 & 9). This method  of turning the machine on and off convenient and operates perfectly.  The Drill press motor is the original and correct. It runs smooth and quiet.  It is 1/3 horse power it runs 1725 RPMs It is 115/230 Volts It is currently 110 volts.  The table is in good used condition. There is some over drilling marks, nothing serious.  The base is slightly rusty in spots, It is not serious and will clean up well. This drill press was in the basement of the previous owner for 50 + years and it has not been abused, . It will need a minor cleaning and some oil. but not much else . The belt is in good shape. The chuck is in great shape. It is a Jacobs 6A and it has the key. Please see pictures for condition.
