This is an extremely hard to find original crank guard or shield for a Fairbanks Morse 6hp Z gas engine.  It is in great used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs except for a ding the size of a dime, a little imperfect bend near the top end, and a slit in the mounting hole.  These will be easy enough to remedy and won't be noticed once it's painted and on your engine.  It measures about 5 5/8 inches wide at it's widest and 17 inches long.  It mounts to tab on the back of the hopper and rests down in the back of the crankcase with the lip that is on it.   If you need a crank guard for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here's your chance at a pretty nice one.  There's an awful lot of them missing and it would certainly be easier than making one!  It would also make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  You'll like it.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
