This is an extremely hard to find original unbroken or repaired cylinder head for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine.  It is the earliest style for the ignitor fired engines and is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.    The valves, guides, and seats all look to be in great shape and have very little wear!  The exhaust threads are in great shape. The original throttle valve is in it and also has very little wear.  Judging by the amount of original paint on this head I'd say it has very little usage!  This head mounts on a 4 1/4 inch square bolt pattern. If you need a head for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here's your chance at a very nice one.  A large percentage of 3hp Fairbanks Z's have broken or repaired heads!  It would also make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  It's the nicest one I've run across in a long time!  You'll like it.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  I can deliver this for free to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, later this year.
