This is an Original Fairbanks Morse Type R Magneto That Was Bought At Auction Of A Magneto Repairman / Collector / Restorer... I have no way to test It Properly, But By Grabbing The wire & Turning The Shaft BY HAND I Got JOLTED ...GOOD ....LOL. I See No Reason It Would Not Run An Engine .... All The Other Mags That Came from The sale HAVE Worked !! I believe it Has Been Rebuilt, Shaft Is Snug On Both Ends, Has Real Good Pull from The Magnets, It IS Set up for An Impulse, But Go Gear, Everything Seems to Be in Good Condition !!! These Magneto's were Mainly Used on Fairbanks Morse Engines In The "Z" Series I believe, But May Have been Used On Others...... A hard to find Piece for those who Are trying To Put An Engine Together out Of parts Or If you Have damaged Or Missing Pieces !! I see NO Damage Or Repairs....Selling As IS..
