This is a very hard to find original Sprout Waldron stone grist mill or grain grinder.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.  It stands about 34 inches tall and made almost entirely of cast iron.  Everything seems to work as it should and there doesn't seem to be much wear anywhere on it.  It has an oscillating action for the shaker pan.  This has to be one one of the most unique designs for a grinder that I've seen and it's one of the smaller ones so it's easy to move around!   This would look great powered by a hit and miss engine or steam engine to grind corn.  Just think of the corn meal you could sell at the shows to recover your investment!    Original stone mills like this are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one.    I feel that the reserve is quite modest compared to the quality of the mill.  Most stone mills sell for $2500-3000.  The pictures tell the story.  They just don't get much nicer.  I can deliver this to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA next year for free.  I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal.  It can stay here as long as needed as long as it's paid for and I accept many forms of payment.   I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.   Good Luck.
