This is an old strainer for the end of the hose on a boiler feed pump to pump water into a steam engine.  It is in excellent original condition and measures about 3 1/2 inches long.  It has 1 1/4 inch pipe threads and they are in great shape.  It has a brass fitting and screen on the suction end and they are also in great shape.   These strainers are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one.  It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won't be this nice.  I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  The pictures tell the story.  Good Luck.
