Here's a pretty nice older restoration 1/2hp vertical Maytag air cooled hit and miss gas engine.  It was restored back in the 1970's and ran and showed at that time.  It turns over nicely with great compression and should run with very little effort.  It is the earlier style with the mixer on the main bearing.  It seem to have most of it's original paint under the green on the gas tank and may look great "unrestored".  There is one chipped cooling fin and an very old, well done braze repair on the flywheel.  It was run this way and had no issues.  There are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of.  It is on a homemade presentation base with built in wiring, coil, and knife switch.  It would be a fine addition to your engine collection or display.  The pictures tell the story.  I can deliver this for free LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, engine shows or swap meets next year.  It can stay here as long as needed for pickup as long as it's paid for.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
