Awesome pair of HEAVY DUTY White's "Lace to Toe" NFPA approved Wildland Firefighting Hathorn Explorer out of my wife's closet, these were bought new around ten years ago, were used to dig line on a couple fires, never got close to a fire, in awesome condition. The Hathorn Explorers I bought brand new from White's last summer don't compare to these older ones and they cost $260 plus out the door. The older ones were every inch a White's Boot, except NFPA approved on account of the thread used and no steel toe. These new ones are thinner "imported" leather (check out the website), heel isn't as burly, obviously some cost cutting over the years, and demand for wildfire boots is through the roof so they make them faster now and sell them for less than they use to... These are a 7D, great for a teen, or ladie's size 9. Lifetime boots at a great price! White's Hathorn Explorer Size 7 $236 plus shipping.
